Seniors unable to participate because of COVID!

If you are a graduating senior in 2021 who has previously participated in OHSET, and your school has not allowed you to have a High School Equestrian Team in 2021, then you are still eligible for the 2021 State Educational Scholarship.  But you must do the following:

>> Submit a letter/email (something in writing) from the school stating this fact.  This letter should be submitted with your scholarship application and a copy (like your application) should be sent to your district chair.

If you simply choose to not participate because of no state championship or district meets, this does not apply.  If you believe you have a reasonable case for not participating related to COVID and other challenges, draft a letter and include it with your scholarship application and copy your district chair.  We want to be inclusive, yet we also want people to hang with us, selling raffle tickets, organizing practice or team building sessions, attending AYHC and sharing, etc.  These efforts demonstrate your commitment to the team.  And this kind of commitment should not be excluded from our educational scholarship simply because there are no meets or team practices in your region.  Any questions, give Candi a call or email:  541-419-6350 or Hang in there!
